Am I the only person that was introduced to Eggs in a Hole this year? How did I get to be 52 without this in my life? If you like dippy eggs and toast, this is the breakfast for you. You are going to love the simplicity of this delicious dish. Don’t forget to turn those center circles into my famous Guiltless Donuts. I always love killing two birds with one stone. What’s not to love about getting eggs, toast and donuts in the same meal?
2 eggs
2 slices of reduced calorie bread
2 turkey sausage links (I use Johnsonville)
Cooking Spray
Heat a griddle to 350 or a large skillet to medium low.
Spray bread with cooking spray. Slightly toast bread, and take a biscuit cutter and cut the center from the bread. Break an egg in the hole. Cook until set and flip. Salt and pepper to taste. You can crumble the turkey sausage over the toast if you wish.
GuiltlessDonuts
2 toast circles
3 tablespoons Fat Free Reddi Wip
1 teaspoon of Smuckers Sugar Free Hot Fudge Sauce
Top toast circles with Reddi Wip.
Put the fudge in the corner of a sandwich bag, heat 5 seconds in the microwave. Cut a small portion of the corner off and drizzle the hot fudge over the Reddi Wip.
For those following Weight Watchers, this entire breakfast is 4SP.
